MCLU Welcomes New and Returning Board Members

Portland:  The Maine Civil Liberties Union is pleased to announce the election of six representatives to its Board of Directors.  MCLU Board members are elected by the membership and come from all over the state. 

The MCLU proudly welcomes new Board members Cara Bilodeau of Portland, John Knutson of Brooklin, Gwethalyn Phillips of Bangor and Peggy Siegle of Brunswick.  Returning to the Board for another term are Bernie Huebner of Waterville and Sally Dobres of Hallowell. 

The MCLU Board of Directors oversees the operations of the statewide organization, an affiliate of the national American Civil Liberties Union, which works to expand and protect civil liberties in Maine.
